Keep Your Windows Crystal Clear
February 21st, 2012by Meg Dehn
Although we have been spared some of the below zero temperatures this winter, cold weather still can be damaging to our windows!
By just taking a few precautions however, you can maintain the original beauty of your windows for years. Most importantly, you want to keep the moisture away from windows & sills. In the winter, the cold air outside & warm air inside creates the build up of moisture or condensation on your windows. The most important thing you can do is open all window coverings in the mornings before leaving home. Bathrooms are the worst! Steamy showers bring the humidity levels up so keep the bath fan on for at least 15 minutes after showers and be sure to open the bathroom blinds before leaving.

Whether you plan on selling or staying in your home, windows are one of the most valuable aspects of your home. Treat them well!
